CAFFE NEW YORK - TUSCAN COFFEE
In the early 1930s Mr. Ugo Incerpi, owner of the Bar New York, bought a coffee roasting machine, in order to be able to offer a special product to the sophisticated clientele visiting the spa town to rest and “take the waters”. The result? His coffee was so good that, within a short time, word spread and on Sundays people even came from Florence to enjoy “Sor Ugo’s” excellent coffee. The classic “Caffè New York” brand, with its logo represented by a black woman holding a handful of coffee beans, appeared in the mid 1930s. A redesigned version of this symbol is still used today.

PASTA MORELLI - TRADITIONAL TUSCAN PASTA
The ancient Morelli Pasta Factory since 1860 produces an Italian Pasta with a delicious taste unique in its gender. Throught years of using the wheat germ ingredient the ancient Morelli Pasta Factory has succeeded in obtaining an italian pasta with a unique taste, it selects the best semolina, which is processed according to craft technique.
FAMIGLIA DESIDERI
Desideri Family started in the artigianal production of traditional Tuscan biscuits in the early 1900s. Their history began with the knowledgeable work of their great-grandfather: Stefano Desideri, who travelling around the small towns in Tuscany, sold his “chicci” (“sweet specialities”) in fairs and local markets. The Brigidini di Lamporecchio, that are from his home town “Lamporecchio”, became Stefano’s speciality so that in 1911 these won him the golden medal at Milan international trade show. Thanks to his passion and ambition, in few years, Desideri could open a new shop in Montecatini Terme, prestigious and very popular thermal centre in Tuscany.
